Running strong: A guide to the physical assessment of runners

We're proud to partner with Sports Medicine Australia (SMA) on CPD event, 'Running strong: A guide to the physical assessment of runners.'

Running is one of the most popular recreational activities, yet research shows that at least 50% of runners will experience an injury at any given time.

A thorough physical examination is a crucial part of managing running injuries. This hands-on workshop will guide you through key steps in assessing runners, covering mobility and strength assessments using both high-tech and low-tech methods.

Led by an expert panel—including chiropractor Dr Luke Nelson, Physiotherapist Prof Christian Barton, and podiatrist Sophie Fitt—this session will offer valuable and practical information from multiple perspectives, enhancing your approach to injury prevention and management.

This workshop will provide practical assessment techniques to help you become a go-to practitioner for runners in your region!

This event is in person only.  Registrations are essential!
